Wire Rope Slings

As with our chain slings, the wire rope lifting slings offered online can be supplied as one, two, three or four leg designs and can be made from galvanised steel wire rope or stainless steel wire rope and in any length and safe working load (obviously this is not without limitation), with lifting capacity possibilities far exceeding the scope of chain type lifting slings. For those higher capacity lifts, or simply those where sling weight and handleability are paramount, our soft lifting slings might also be of interest, with standard lifting capacities possible up to 300 tonnes and more bespoke slings being capable of up to 4000 tonne MBL (minimum breaking load).

End fittings/terminations offered online are: fused and tapered, ferrule secured thimble hard eye, ferrule secured soft eye, flemish eye according to DIN 13414-1, captivated shackle (permanent), master ring, sling hooks (traditional safety latch/catch type), self-locking safety hooks, foundry hook, swivel sling hook and swivel self-locking hook.
